# Add Working Area

You can set up borders and routes for a robot by specifying its working areas on the map.

## Step 1: Adding an Area

To add a working area, go to the [**Structure**](https://docs.aitheon.com/smart-infrastructure/main-tabs-in-smart-infrastructure-service/structure) menu, choose the tool in the left side menu, and use it to mark the map\`s required area.

## Step 2: Setting up the Area

All Areas are created with default [**origin**](https://docs.aitheon.com/smart-infrastructure/glossary/terminology#origin-point), [**entry**](https://docs.aitheon.com/smart-infrastructure/glossary/terminology#entry-point), and [**exit**](https://docs.aitheon.com/smart-infrastructure/glossary/terminology#exit-point) points. To change the specific area route, click on one of the dots, and move it accordingly.

Click on a red point and then ‘**+**’ to add the next one. Then **SAVE** the area.

Enter the name of your area, choose its color, click **SAVE**.

Now the area is created!
